Statement
We exist to provide
an opportunity to answer the call of God to visit orphans around
the world and to train a generation to live a radically undefiled
transformed life.
Youth
For Orphans ministry is a 3 fold approach:
Evangelism:
Each one Reach One/What Did Jesus Do?
Could the youth of America radically change the lives of a forgotten
generation of kids? YFO seeks to accomplish this through “Each
One Reach One/What Did Jesus Do.” Each person has the gifts
and ability to personally impact an orphan’s life. This can
be seen by providing for the orphan’s material needs and more
importantly their spiritual needs. The perfect example of this type
of provisions can be seen in Jesus Christ. Christ came from heaven
being glory, honor, pure worship, and majesty, to living a life
of serving man and seeking after the sick and the lost. He desired
to heal and restore the lives of the sick and to bring the lost
sheep to Himself being the Good Shepherd. YFO desires bring orphans
to the true Gospel where Christ is Savior and Lord of their lives.
Equipping:
Discipleship and training
In Matthew 28:18-20 Christ calls His followers to make disciples.
It’s a call to teach! YFO follows this command by putting
together teams that will daily have hands on ministry with orphans
through a variety of ministries designed to foster spiritual growth.
YFO desires to come along side orphanages, yet also train the individuals
who are endeavoring to go on this missions project to draw nearer
to God.

Project Hebrews 10:24-25
In everyday life YFO comes into contact with so many different generations,
cultures, languages, and personalities of people. We want to kindle
a fire that burns to love, pursue good deeds, seek after pure fellowship,
and encourage every relationship towards a life that is more centered
in Christ. Whether we are in the office or on a mission’s
project we stress the value and importance of people.
One group of people that YFO feels is overlooked is the faithful
servants on the front lines of orphanage work. Quite often on these
trips, you can focus entirely on the building projects and the orphans
themselves which is a great thing, yet you miss opportunity to minister
to the staff and volunteers directly. That’s why one of our
main aspects on every trip is to encourage and spur these wonderfully
individual on.
James
1: 27 Religion
that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit
orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself undefiled
from the world.
Statement of Belief
- We believe
the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative
Word of God. II Timothy 3:15-17.
- We believe
that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6.
- We believe
in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in
His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning
death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His
ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal
return in power and glory. John 1:1-4; Matthew
1:23; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 & 4:15; Acts 1:11
& 2:22-24; I Corinthians 15:3-4.

that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of
sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy

Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47; Ephesians 2:8-9;
John 14:6; Acts 4:12.
- We believe
in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables
the Christian to live a godly life. Galatians

- We believe
in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved
unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection
of damnation and eternal punishment.
Revelation 20:11-15; I Corinthians 15:51-57.
- We believe
in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and
that all true believers are members of His body, the Church. Ephesians

- We believe
that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the
church and each Christian.
Romans 10:9-15; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20; I Peter 3:15.
