Honduras Trip Information

Honduras known for its unbelievable mountain ranges, lush rainforests and aqua blue waters is rich with natural beauty, yet one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere.

Orphanage Emmanuel, home to 430 plus children is in the city of Guiamaca, Honduras. Your ministry will consist of building relationships with children that are hungry for love. Your smile, a hug, a simple card will make a world of difference to children who have been forgotten by society.

We will use Vacation Bible Schools and youth camps to minister to these hurting souls. You will literally see walls being torn down as the power of God works through you to touch their hearts. This trip is all about friendship, evangelism and sharing God's love one heart at a time.

You also travel into the heart of the capitol, Tegucigalpa. Where we will share the unbelievable message of God’s goodness and love to kids in the State Detention Center and Holding Facility for all the newly declared orphans for the state.

The base trip cost includes:

  • Administrative and project set-up costs
  • Marketing (including phoning, mail-outs, etc)
  • International set-up trips by staff
  • Leadership training
  • Ministry set-up: tracts, literature, supplies
  • All costs for lodging and food
  • International round-trip airfare from Los Angeles, CA or alternate transportation to the mission destination
  • Transportation in-country
